Started in June 2003 by brothers Damon and Brendan Coots, Splitvision Digital has helped a wide variety of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to micro-businesses, to realize their marketing potential. Since relocating from San Francisco to their new studio in the multimedia hub of Emeryville, the production team at Splitvision Digital has developed a highly efficient work-flow and customer process that is so well-refined, other major production facilities have asked the team to share their secret to success. The result is lower-cost, high-quality results for our clients, and a deeper level of customer satisfaction.
Damon Coots, Senior Producer
Senior Producer for Splitvision Digital, Damon works with clients to assess, prepare, and execute their projects.
As a long-time San Francisco resident, Damon has worked on many independent films and video projects in the Bay Area. He has served in almost every crew position over the years, including Art Director, Writer, Editor, Director, Director of Photography, and Producer.
Damon’s ten years experience with film and multimedia include several years of formal training through local organizations and colleges, in addition to countless hours of on-set production experience. His specialty lies in creating quality productions under tight budgets, and overcoming difficult challenges.
Prior to co-founding Splitvision Digital, Damon served as a technical solutions advisor for Sonic Solutions. Here, he was immersed in the technical side of DVD and video production. This experience enhanced his deep understanding of the digital architecture behind video, and increased his ability to deliver outstanding results. |

Brendan Coots, Creative Director
As Creative Director, Brendan establishes the look, feel and content of all client projects, and helps usher them to completion.
With a BAS in Visual Media, five years of high-level marketing and over a decade of professional design experience under his belt, Brendan has a solid understanding of what drives good creative decisions and how best to execute them. His credits include feature film special effects work, award-winning national and international commercial spots and a wide array of corporate communications work for Fortune 500 companies. All told, Brendan has worked on hundreds of projects in a wide variety of media.
Before co-founding Splitvision Digital, Brendan worked as a Freelance Artist and Creative Director at some of the Bay Area’s most influential production facilities including The Orphanage, Roughhouse Editorial, Radium and Lieberman Productions. |
